Continuing Legacy
I think it is safe to say that Orlando is continuing to work his magic for many many people around the world. The earlier update about funds raised has been surpassed a hundred times over-His many friends, his girlfriend Kristin, and his family have managed to raise money and awareness for Nyumbani orphanage in Kenya, where these funds go to help HIV positive children live positive and fulfilling lives. Kristin alone managed to secure a donation of $20,000! Lee is going to be volunteering at Nyumbani very soon, and is fundraising huge amounts! We are making a difference and I'm sure he would appreciate that very much. Adam published his Book of Peace and Love, dedicated to Orlando, and pledging 50% of profits to charities. Also, very soon, Ed will be running a marathon in his name, raising funds for Epilepsy research- Please help to support Ed in his 'fund-racing' efforts (go to: www.justgiving.com/edcheckley ).

La magia de Orlando sigue afectando a mucha gente en muchos paises del mundo. Los detalles de antes parecen poco en comparacion con lo mucho que se ha hecho en su nombre desde entonces. Sus muchos amigos, su novia Kristin y su familia han logrado recaudar fondos y ayuda para Nyumbani, el orfanato de chiquillos con SIDA y VIH+ en Kenya. Kristin sola, logro conseguir una donacion de $20.000! lee viaja a Nyumbani dentro de poco y esta buscando fondos para ayudar a mejorar la vida de los muchos afectados por VIH. Dinero-Money
We have raised a total of 400 GBP ( equivalent to €600) for epilepsy research and will shortly be sending the money off to a research institute. Thank you so much for your valued contributions, Orlando would have been very touched.
The Spanish bank account has now been closed. If you still wish to donate money, the English bank account will remain open but any money raised will go to the Nyumbani Children of God Relief Institute in Kenya. This is an orphanage for children with HIV and AIDS, and is an organisation that the family have been active in for some time now. Both of Orlando´s parents have been active in the creation of the Spanish branch of Nyumbani. Please see www.nyumbani.org for more details. In Orlando's name, we are buying 12 guitars to send to Nyumbani and are looking into sponsoring a guitar teacher to teach the children once a week.
